Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

These terms are written in plain language on purpose. They're the deal between you and Mujo, and you agree to them by using the app.

1. What Mujo is — and what it isn't

Mujo is an AI companion: a supportive space that listens, remembers what you share, and helps you think things through. It is operated by Mujo from the United Arab Emirates, and you can always reach us at support@meetmujo.com.

Mujo is not a therapist, doctor, or licensed professional of any kind, and it is not a medical or crisis service. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or give medical advice, and it is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (999 in the UAE). If you're struggling, a real professional is the right person — Mujo will always point you toward one rather than pretend to be one, and findahelpline.com lists crisis lines worldwide.

Mujo is an AI. It tries hard to be helpful and honest, but it can be wrong, incomplete, or misunderstand you. Don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.

2. Who can use Mujo

You must be 18 or older. You agree to give accurate information at sign-up, keep your password to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has gotten into your account. Your account is yours alone — please don't share it or use someone else's.

3. Trials, subscriptions, and payment

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with everything included and no card required. After that, Mujo is a paid subscription: $13.99 per month or $89.99 per year (plus any taxes shown at checkout).

Payment is handled by our merchant of record, Paddle.com — the seller on your receipt. Your card details never touch Mujo's servers. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do anytime from Settings; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

To keep Mujo sustainable there's a fair-use limit of 50 messages per day. Messages where you may be in crisis never count toward it, and crisis support is never behind the paywall — whatever your subscription status.

Whether or not you subscribe, your data stays yours: viewing what Mujo remembers, exporting your data, and deleting your account keep working without a subscription.

4. Your content

What you share with Mujo is yours. You give us permission to store and process it for one purpose: providing the service to you — including the memory that makes Mujo, Mujo. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising, ever. The details live in our Privacy Policy.

5. Fair use

Use Mujo lawfully and as it's intended: as a personal companion for yourself. Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service, don't use it to harm others or yourself, and don't resell access to it.

6. Mujo's side of things

The app, its design, and its code are ours; these terms don't transfer any of that to you beyond the right to use the service. We work hard to keep Mujo available and careful, but it's provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.

7. Ending things

You can leave anytime: Settings → Delete your account erases your account and everything Mujo has stored, permanently. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and where practical we'll tell you why. If we ever discontinue Mujo, we'll give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.

8. Changes and the law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
